Seminary Now: Preaching to a Divided Nation

Where can you learn more about God and strengthen your love for His people? Seminary Now provides streaming Christian video courses taught by leading experts on today’s most relevant topics. I’ve heard about them but never tried a course until now.

Deeper Learning and Ongoing Education

Seminary Now is not meant to replace seminary education. As a young father and church lay leader, I value Seminary Now as a gateway to deeper learning and ongoing education. The courses are easily accessible and broken into short, engaging segments that can be accessed on-demand from any device.

I loved the ease of navigating the website, the production quality of the videos, and the ability to adjust the speed and subtitles. The diverse group of teachers, including women and people of color, addresses the demands of modern ministry. Their growing content library is an excellent resource for church discipleship and leadership.

Preaching to a Divided Nation

Matthew Kim and Paul Hoffman’s course on Preaching to a Divided Nation caught my attention after reading their outstanding book. Kim and Hoffman are comfortable on camera, and their content is presented in a beautiful and engaging way with graphics, quote cards, and photos.

I recently taught a Sunday School lesson on Total Depravity, and I wish I had watched this course sooner! Hoffman clearly outlined six characteristics of sin that I plan to incorporate into my own future lessons. Kim’s video on the contextual aspects of preaching resonated with me, reminding me to reflect on my church history and identify the idols within my congregation.

Timely, Relevant, and Immediately Applicable

Kim and Hoffman’s course is outstanding. It is timely, relevant, and immediately applicable. This course equips preachers and pastors to navigate our contentious political climate with confidence and courage, guiding their congregations toward Christ.

I am happy to share about Kim and Hoffman’s course, as well as the rest of Seminary Now, for anyone seeking to learn more about God and deepen their love for His people.
