The Book of Joshua

The Book of Joshua by Alabaster is a stunning and vivid presentation of God’s faithfulness to his people.

With warm visuals and “Courageous Orange” as the anchor color, this book is radiant throughout. The imagery especially made me think of the physical and practical challenges that the Israelite’s faced, as well as the awesome displays of God’s power they would have experienced.

An Epic Narrative and a Wonderful Reading Experience

While I am familiar with some of the individual stories in Joshua, reading the book as a whole was a wonderful experience. The text layout and the New Living Translation made the book feel like the epic narrative it truly is.

Reading this book made me feel grateful for the ways that God saves his children. It excited me to be strong and courageous. And it made me delight that God would so generously give himself to his people.
