ESV Student Study Bible

This is my favorite edition of the ESV Bible. While the original ESV Study Bible has more comprehensive notes, the ESV Student Study Bible distills them to get to the point.

The ESV Student Study Bible fits nicely in your hands, lays flat on a table, and is overall easier to carry around. It’s a portable Bible for bringing to church and school. The cover is attractive, and the colors, fonts, and general layout help to make it readable.


Essential and Outstanding
What makes this edition standout are the 900 “Did You Know?” facts and 120 Character Profiles. I find myself always reading these when I come across them on the page, and I will actively seek them out when I am doing my personal Bible study. The glossary and concordance are excellent. The well-written articles and full-colored maps are generous. 

The ESV Student Study Bible packs the essential features for an outstanding study of God’s Word.
