Daily Doctrine

How can you deepen your study and understanding of God every day? In Daily Doctrine, Kevin DeYoung delivers a one-year guide to systematic theology.

The book is divided into 9 sections corresponding to different categories of systematic theology, from Prolegomena and Theology Proper to Ecclesiology and Eschatology. The 432 pages read quickly, and the daily readings are a short 1-2 pages, with DeYoung’s ability to clearly articulate complex doctrines on full display.

Milk and Meat

This is the first book that I have seen combine a systematic theology with a daily devotional. As someone who enjoys reading systematic theologies cover-to-cover, this format encouraged me to slow down, to digest and savor each piece.

This book shows that a serious study of God can be easily accesible, and new students of God’s Word may find it to be quite enjoyable. For seasoned saints, this book will be a refreshing read as you take in a steady stream of distilled truths. All will be nourished by the milk and meat of biblical Christian beliefs.
