A Beautiful Year in the Bible

Do you need help slowing down and taking in the beauty of the Bible? In A Beautiful Year in the Bible, Alabaster presents a 52-week Bible study for women.

Fresh, Vibrant, Inspiring

The art in this devotional feels fresh, vibrant, and inspiring. Every week comes with a new page of full-color artwork by Rachel Yumi Chung. As a man, I enjoyed reading this and found it to be a wonderful and delightful experience.

What I most loved about this devotional is how it is intended to be used – by meditating weekly on several passages that reflect a certain topic. The readings span the entire Bible from the Old Testament and the New Testament. So you won’t just stay in the Psalms or the Gospels – but you’ll get into Deuteronomy and Judges, Hebrews and Revelation.

Consistent Rhythm, Deep Reflections

The weekly synopsis serves as a way to stay focused, and the reflections and prompts are rich – encouraging deep thinking. I was especially pleased to read on the complexity of relationships, steadfast faith in times of sorrow, how God values the weak and vulnerable, and compassion and second chances.

I believe that those who use this devotional will find a consistent rhythm and deeper reflections in God’s Word. You will have read through and explored the entire Bible. And you will be rewarded with a more intimate relationship with the Lord.
