5 Reasons To Buy A New Guitar
You should buy a new guitar if…
1. You use your guitar on a regular basis.
Do you look for opportunities to serve? Has God given you more opportunities to serve him?
2. You can serve better (or make things easier on yourself).
Does your guitar have a built-in pickup? Does your guitar frequently need re-stringing? Is it easy to change the strings?
3. You can improve your sound.
When it comes to acoustic guitars, you really can tell a cheap guitar from a quality guitar. And you need to think about how your congregation can benefit from an improved sound. Even if you’re playing to children - they will benefit from a higher quality sound. If you’re recording music, you will absolutely get better recordings when you’re playing on a better instrument.
4. You need your own guitar.
Sometimes people will share instruments when they’re just starting to learn how to play. But if you can afford your own guitar, you should buy your own guitar. This gives you the freedom to practice and play whenever you can.
5. Your guitar is broken.
Or if it’s damaged beyond repair. I’m not talking about minor scraps from touring. I’m talking about holes in the side of your guitar. Don’t be ghetto if you can afford to not be ghetto!
I have one more reason to buy a new guitar, but I’ll be saving that one for a more personal post where I share the reason why I bought my black electric.
